The Poway Poker Tour was organized in 2004 to provide a friendly place where people could go to play poker in a social atmosphere. Most of the players are from Poway, hense the name, however, we have a growing list of players that come from all over San Diego.

It is important to note that no one makes money, other than as a mere player, at any of our events.  No rakes and no fees of any kind are collected. Every dollar of entry fee is paid back to players based on their finishing position.

We meet on a regular schedule, once a month at one of our players homes. Starting time is typically 7:30 PM and we request that players show up 10 minutes in advance so play can start on time.

Everyone supplies their own snacks and drinks, however, due to the friendly nature of the PPT, everyone normally shares.

In addition to these, in home games, many of us play online as well as travel to local indian and Las Vegas casinos to play from time to time.

If you have any questions, please email us at info@powaypokertour.com and someone will get back to you with the information you need.

Don't forget to check out our current schedule for upcoming events.

High Fashion Comes To The PPT
Thanks to Wayne, the PPT now has it's very own line of baseball caps and shirts. He had these made up at the beginning of 2007 and provided a giveaway hat to the 2nd place finisher of the 1/5 tournament.

Thanks Wayne and we look forward to seeing the winner of our WSOP seat on TV wearing PPTWear later this year.
